A WyzOwl survey indicated that in 2019, 87% of businesses are using video as a marketing tool. And 93% of marketers indicate they’ve gained business as a result of a video on social media. Out of the marketing professionals who have employed videos on social media, 88% said they were satisfied with the ROI. Forbes magazine reported a 96% increase in the click-through rate compared to text-only content. Not only that, but people are 1200% more likely to share a video than links and text combined. That means incorporating video into your digital marketing strategy is a wise move. 

SEO Boost
Search engines prioritize high-quality content in their rankings. Considering 80% of all internet traffic will consist of video by 2021, it’s not surprising that search engines rank video content so highly. Including well-optimized video content on your company’s web pages can boost your SEO.  

It definitely is beneficial to incorporate video content into your digital marketing strategy. The cost of doing so has decreased over time, and high-quality videos can even be shot from your cell phone these days.
